The Asthma Association of Barbados (AAB) was officially launched in 1990. The major objective of the AAB is the education of the public on the treatment and control of asthma. The AAB is committed to reducing the prevalence, morbidity and mortality of asthma in Barbados. The AAB takes part in health fairs, gives lectures to schools and PTAs, and functions as a support group.
